We’re delighted to announce that the ballot for LLHM 2023 will open on Thursday 7th July. The 2023 edition of the race will take place on Sunday 2rd April 2023 and is set to be the BIGGEST London Landmarks Half we have seen!

We’ve worked hard with our partners across London to increase the total number of race places to 16,000, meaning you have a much greater chance of securing a place!

The LLHM 2023 ballot is free to enter. You only need to pay for your place if you are successful and any profit from your entry fee will go to baby charity Tommy's who organise the London Landmarks Half Marathon. Tommy's exist to save babies' lives through funding research into miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth.

Following the announcement of the main ballot later in July, all unsuccessful ballot applicants will automatically be entered into a second chance ballot for free. This will allow us to re-allocate any unwanted main ballot places to others.

Baby charity Tommy’s are the proud owner and organiser of the LLHM and exist to save babies’ lives. Tommy’s has the largest team running on race day and would love to welcome you on board. Tommy’s are offering free entry onto their team with a fundraising pledge of £350. You will be joining a community who stand up and refuse to accept that baby loss is ‘just one of those things’.

You can secure your free place with Team Tommy's now and if you are successful in the ballot you can cancel your charity place with them. It's win win!

Those unsuccessful in the ballot can also enter via LLHM’s 350+ other charity partners including; Tommy’s, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Cancer Research UK,  Macmillan, Great Ormand Street Children’s Hospital, Prostate Cancer UK and the British Heart Foundation.

Earlier this year, LLHM 2022 saw nearly 12,000 people cross the start line raising a staggering £7.8m for charity. Over the 5 years of the London Landmarks Half, £28.2M has been raised in total for baby charity Tommy’s, who organise the event, and their 350 charity partners.

Lia Fyles, London Landmarks Half Marathon Race Director, said:

“2023 is set the be the BIGGEST London Landmarks Half we have seen since we started the event. We’ve worked hard with our partners across London to increase the number of race places we can offer, and I am so excited that we will be officially welcoming wheelchair entrants to LLHM next year too. This is a real milestone for us as part of our commitment to be as inclusive as possible

Our 5th edition this year, was truly amazing and we were so humbled by the extraordinary amount raised for charity. The London Landmarks Half is 100% not for profit and since our first race it has raised over £28M for so many worthy causes. We wish everyone who enters the ballot the best of luck but want to remind those who aren’t successful that charity places are available so you can still join us on what promises to be an extraordinary day, whilst doing good at the same time.”
