We have a very special announcement to make… we are delighted to reveal that Royal Bank of Canada is an official Event Sponsor of LLHM 2025!
The Royal Bank of Canada recognises the importance of physical and mental health, supporting a broad range of community initiatives through charitable donations, community investments and employee volunteer activities. Taking an active role in supporting charitable causes and events that promote a sense of belonging through diversity and inclusion, we are so excited to work with Royal Bank of Canada to continue to showcase the work we do with fundraising millions each year for hundreds of charity partners, celebrating London and its diverse history and communities!
Together, the LLHM and Royal Bank of Canada will provide ‘roarsome’ support on race day, with a brand-new activation – Lions of London! With the LLHM being a celebration of the grand, quirky and hidden historical landmarks of London, Royal Bank of Canada’s cheer station will celebrate both their official mascot, Leo the Lion, as well as the 10,000 lion statues found across London. Leo the Lion will be leading a team of Royal Bank of Canada supporters cheering runners on as they are the ‘mane’ event!
A lion represents strength, authority, bravery and family – which seems a perfect way to depict our LLHM runners, running in a ‘pride’ of other runners to achieve the same goal of crossing the finish line.
In addition, Royal Bank of Canada will be keeping LLHM runners hydrated along the route with a sponsored water station, as well as working with charities to celebrate the top fundraisers for LLHM 2025 and kicking off the beloved charity Mascot Dash.
LLHM 2025 will see 20,000 people cross the start line on race day, with an amazing aim of fundraising £15million for the charity sector. London Landmarks Half Marathon is a 100% not for profit, and we are delighted that an outstanding £54million has been raised to date so far since the first event in 2018. Every step taken contributes to supporting Tommy’s and their 680+ charity partners including; Alzheimer's Society, Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, Prostate Cancer UK and Shelter.
