CHARITY PLACES
What is a charity place runner?
Charity place runners are those who sign up to run for a charity and agree to raise a minimum sponsorship pledge. Charities buy places in LLHM and then recruit people to raise money for their cause - in return runners gain entry into the event using one of these charity places.
If you have a charity place and are unsure of the terms of conditions it is best to contact your charity directly, as every charity manages and administers their places differently. LLHM cannot make any decisions about a charity place.
I told a charity I have an 'own place' or 'ballot place' - what does this mean?
This means that you entered the LLHM public ballot, were successful in getting a place and would like to use this to raise money for the charity. If you did not enter the ballot, or were unsuccessful in the ballot then you do not have an 'own place' or 'ballot place'. Entries for LLHM 2026 are now closed so if you do not have an own place, or charity place already confirmed then you are not able to take part in the event.
It is very important that you do not tell a charity that you have your own place if you do not, otherwise they will think you already have a place in the event and will not allocate one to you, meaning you will not be able to take part.
How do I apply to be a charity partner?
If you are interested in becoming a charity partner please visit our webpage here. LLHM 2026 charity partner applications have now closed, but our charity team would love to hear from you about partnering for future events.
WHEN WILL CHARITY RUNNERS RECEIVE CONFIRMATION OF THEIR PLACE IN LLHM 2026?
Once charity runners have confirmed their place in the event with their chosen charity, they will receive an email from noreply@llhm.co.uk with a link to complete their registration. These emails will start to be sent out when our registration platform opens in mid-October. Please be aware that charities send out these emails in batches, so please don’t worry if you don’t receive this email immediately. If you haven't heard anything from your charity by the end of October, please get in touch with them directly.
CAN CHARITY RUNNERS ORDER A LLHM 2026 TRAINING TOP?
Charity runners will be able to purchase an exclusive LLHM 2026 training top when our registration platform opens in October. They should receive an email from their charities via noreply@llhm.co.uk with a link to complete their registration. During this process, runners will have the opportunity to purchase a LLHM 2026 training top, or they can do so later through their runner dashboard.
I have already signed up with my charity. Why do I need to register again?
There are two stages to registering as a charity runner for LLHM 2026.
Firstly, you sign up with your charity.
Once you have signed up with your charity, they will send you a link to complete your official LLHM registration. Look out for an email from noreply@llhm.co.uk . The official registration requires you to pay a non-refundable £4.75 to cover the postage of your LLHM race pack, which you receive in the two weeks before race day.
Once you have registered, you will start receiving official communication from the LLHM Team.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO COMPLETE MY REGISTRATION?
All runners must have completed their registration on the charity runner registration system before 12 noon, on Wednesday 11 February 2026. Your charity may ask you to complete your registration earlier than this date so they can support you in advance of race day.
IF I MISS THE DEADLINE, CAN I STILL TAKE PART?
Unfortunately no, once the charity runner registration system is closed we cannot accept further entries under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of each runner and their charity to ensure that your registrations completed before 12 noon, on Wednesday 11 February 2026.
I NEVER RECEIVED MY LINK, CAN I STILL COMPLETE MY REGISTRATION?
Registration links for charity runners were sent out by charities via noreply@llhm.co.uk. If you did not receive one of these and complete it before the 12 noon on Wednesday 11th February, unfortunately you are now unable to register for the event. It is the responsibility of the charities to ensure their runners are registered before the deadline, we would recommend contacting them to find out if there is anything else they can offer.
I EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WHEN TRYING TO REGISTER, CAN I STILL COMPLETE MY REGISTRATION?
We apologise if you experienced any technical difficulties when trying to complete registration. Unfortunately, our entry system closed at 12 noon, on Wednesday 11th February 2026 and if you did not get in touch with us regarding the issue before this deadline, there is nothing we are able to do. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
WHY WON'T MY REGISTRATION LINK WOK?
The LLHM 2026 registration system has now closed. It closed at 12 noon, on Wednesday 11th February 2026 and after this point no further registrations can be accepted.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY REGISTRATION DETAILS

HOW WILL I KNOW HOW TO GET TO THE START LINE?

WHEN WILL RACE PACKS BE SENT?
Your race pack will be delivered to the address you have registered with 2-3 weeks before event weekend, with international race packs being sent out a week earlier.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RECEIVE MY RACE PACK?

You will need to bring Photo ID to collect your replacement pack. If you are unable to collect your pack, a friend or family member can do this for you but will need to show an email or text message from you in order to collect the replacement pack.
WILL THERE BE A BAG DROP?
Double decker buses will be used for the LLHM 2026 baggage facility. The buses provide a safe, fast and effective way for you to leave any baggage while you run the event. Runner bag drop locations will be available in the Race Day Guide.
WILL THERE BE PACERS ON THE DAY?
We are delighted to have XEMPO pacing LLHM 2026. We will have pacers split across our 8 waves running a range of times.
Please remember that pacers are limited and that at an event of 20,000 people we cannot guarantee everyone will be able to follow a pacer for their desired time. If you are aiming for a specific time please train accordingly and be ready to manage your own pacing on the day.
WILL THERE BE WATER STATIONS ON THE COURSE?
There will be water stations at different points along the route. The location of these water stations will be marked in your race day guide, which you will receive 2-3 weeks before race day. We welcome and encourage runners to bring their own hydration options, such as camel bags, vests and flexible flasks.

There will be plenty of toilet provisions for you on the course, as well as at the start and finish areas.
WILL YOU HAVE SANITARY PRODUCTS AVAILABLE ON THE ROUTE?

Free sanitary products, including tampons and towels, will be supplied at all our toilet facilities along the route and in the start and finish areas; along with other useful items you might need such as hair ties and tissues. Simply look out for our designated volunteers at the toilet stations, who will be able to help you discreetly with what you need!
CAN I CHANGE WAVES TO RUN WITH A FRIEND?
Runners are able to drop back to a later wave on race day to run with friends, but are not able to move forward a wave.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Go to your allocated bag drop if you need to drop off your bag.
2. Go to the later wave start.
3. After the race collect your bag from your allocated bag pick-up.
It's really important that runners use the bag drop they are allocated as we have carefully calculated the space needed to safely store everyone's bags.
CAN I RUN WITH HEADPHONES?
As per our runner T&Cs, the use of headphones is strongly discouraged. We do not disqualify runners but we would encourage you not to wear them for the health and safety of yourself and fellow runners. If you choose to wear them please make sure you are still aware of your surroundings on the route.
I CAN NO LONGER TAKE PART, CAN YOU STILL SEND ME A MEDAL AND FINISHER’S T-SHIRT?
