LLHM 2025 ROUTE UPDATE
For the very first time, the race will start on Whitehall and finish by Trafalgar Square. For those of you who have taken part before, yes indeed, this means you will be running the iconic Landmarks route in reverse!
As you set off you will start by taking in the stunning sights of historic Westminster. Before heading down the Embankment and experiencing spectacular views of the landmarks along the River Thames. Before finally soaking in the old and new of the City then making your way back to the finish line.
WHY WE HAVE MADE THESE CHANGES
The change is due to us needing to plan around a military wreath laying ceremony, which is taking place near to our traditional finish line exit on race day. We have 20,000 runners taking part this year, our largest LLHM event to date, and the change is to ensure the smooth navigation around this important ceremony. Our aim is to continue to grow the event year on year, which we also hope this new route may help make possible.
We can’t wait to see you taking on the new route in April which will continue to be jam packed full of charity cheer stations, music, dancers and our historical and cultural activations!
