When will LLHM 2027 take place?
LLHM 2027 will take place on Sunday 4 April 2027, subject to approval.
LLHM 2027 Ballot
When does the LLHM 2027 ballot open?
The LLHM 2027 ballot will open next week. We'll announce the exact opening and closing dates soon.
When does the LLHM 2027 ballot close?
The LLHM 2027 ballot will be open for one week only. The exact closing date will be confirmed soon.
When will ballot results be announced?
The results of both ballots will be announced in July.
How much does it cost to enter the ballot?
Entering the main ballot is completely free.
When you enter, you'll also have the option to pay your entry fee upfront as a donation to Tommy's, the pregnancy and baby charity that proudly organises the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
What is the Second Chance Ballot?
The Second Chance Ballot is an additional draw that gives you another opportunity to secure a place in LLHM 2027 if you're unsuccessful in the main ballot.
Access to the Second Chance Ballot is only available if you choose to donate your entry fee upfront when entering the ballot.
What are the benefits of choosing the Second Chance Ballot?
If you donate your entry fee upfront, you'll receive:
- Access to the exclusive Second Chance Ballot
- A reduced entry fee of £49.99 if you're successful in either ballot, saving £25 compared to the standard ballot entry fee of £74.99
- An exclusive LLHM winter running jacket worth £50 if you're unsuccessful in both ballots*
*You can choose to donate your fee to Tommy's instead of receiving the jacket.
What happens if I'm successful in the main ballot?
You'll receive an email explaining how to complete your registration.
If you donated your entry fee upfront:
- No further payment is required
- You'll need to complete a registration form by the deadline provided
If you entered the free ballot:
- You'll need to pay the standard entry fee of £74.99
- You'll need to complete a registration form by the deadline provided
If you don't complete the required steps before the deadline, you'll lose your place.
What happens if I'm unsuccessful in the main ballot?
If you donated your entry fee upfront, you'll automatically be entered into the Second Chance Ballot.
If you entered the free ballot, you won't be entered into the Second Chance Ballot. However, you'll still be able to apply for a place through one of our charity partners.
What happens if I'm successful in the Second Chance Ballot?
You'll receive an email with instructions on how to complete your registration.
As you've already donated your entry fee, no further payment is required. You'll simply need to complete the registration form before the deadline provided.
If you don't complete the registration form before the deadline, you'll lose your place and your donation cannot be refunded.
What happens if I'm unsuccessful in the Second Chance Ballot?
If you chose to receive the exclusive LLHM winter running jacket, it will be sent to you in the autumn.
If you chose not to receive the jacket, your entry fee donation will go directly to Tommy's.
What is a ballot place runner?
A ballot place runner is someone who enters the ballot and is successful in securing a place.
Some charities refer to these participants as "Own Place Runners" because the place belongs to the individual who entered the ballot, rather than a charity.
You can still use your ballot place to raise money for any charity you choose.
Can I enter the ballot more than once?
No. Ballot entries are limited to one per person. Any duplicate entries may be removed from the ballot.
Can two people use the same email address to enter?
No. Only one ballot entry is permitted per email address. If you share an email address with someone else and both wish to enter the ballot, one of you will need to create a separate email address before entering.
Can I get a refund if I donate my entry fee?
No. Entry fee donations are non-refundable, including if you're offered a place but do not complete your registration before the deadline.
Where does my donation go?
Your donation supports Tommy's, the pregnancy and baby charity that organises the London Landmarks Half Marathon.Tommy's funds vital research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and works to make pregnancy and birth safe for everyone.

WHO OWNS THE LONDON LANDMARKS HALF MARATHON?
The event is owned by pregnancy and baby charity, Tommy's. Tommy's created the LLHM to benefit themselves and many other good causes and the profits from the LLHM go to Tommy's who organise the race. Tommy’s are a charity that exists to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.
