We’re committed to making the London Landmarks Half Marathon as inclusive and accessible as possible. LLHM 2026 will welcome a limited number of wheelchair participants and other runners with disabilities, including visually impaired runners. Below is everything you need to know to support your runners and ensure they are registered correctly.
Who Can Take Part?
We welcome charity runners with the following accessibility needs:
- Wheelchair Participants - using a rigid manual day chair or adapted wheelchair buggy (no handcycles, racing wheelchairs or motorised wheelchairs).
- Visually Impaired Runners.
- Other Disabilities or Medical Conditions requiring support or guide runners.

Support Runners
LLHM offers a complimentary place for one support runner per eligible participant, or charities can choose to allocate a place from their own place allocation.
Support runners must:
- Be 17 years or older on race day
- Register and accept our standard terms and conditions
- Be confirmed by the LLHM Team
Step-by-Step Process for Charity Partners
Follow these steps to register participants with disabilities and request support runner places:
1. Identify the Runner’s Needs
As runners sign up, ask whether they:
- Are a wheelchair participant
- Are visually impaired or have another disability or medical condition
- Require a support or guide runner
2. Complete the Online Form
Submit our form below with the following details:
- Runner’s name and email
- Whether they require a support runner
- Whether you will be providing a place for the support runner or would like LLHM to offer a free place
3. Wait for Confirmation
LLHM will confirm if a place is available for:
- The wheelchair participant (limited places available, approved on a first come, first served basis)
- The support runner (if requested)
4. Invite the Runner to Register
Once approved, you can invite the runner to complete their official LLHM registration via the console.
5. Please Note
If a participant can no longer take part in LLHM 2026, any allocated support runner place will also be withdrawn.

Terms And Conditions
Wheelchair Participants are only permitted to participate using a rigid manual powered day chair or adapted wheelchair buggy. Handcycles, racing wheelchairs or motorised wheelchairs are strictly not permitted.
We accept entries from wheelchair participants who are assisted and unassisted.
We strongly advise that a support runner accompanies each Wheelchair Participant provided that the support runner also enters into the Event and accepts these Terms and Conditions. Assisted wheelchair participants can take part, with support personnel helping to push them along the route. Support runner places will be agreed with the Event Organisers and allocated on a first come first served basis. Those being assisted and those assisting must be 17 years or older on race day.
In accordance with the Event Organiser's health and safety obligations, Wheelchair Participants will be allocated start waves dependent on whether they are assisted or unassisted and will not be allowed to move start waves.
The Event Organiser may need to limit the number of both assisted and unassisted Wheelchair Participants taking part in the Event and such decision will be made at its sole discretion taking into account any health and safety advice and procedures. Wheelchair Participants may be required to provide certain information and to act in accordance with specific instructions and advice in order for them and other Participants to participate in a safe manner. These Terms and Conditions apply equally to all Participants and Wheelchair Participants
If you are signing up for a charity place, please let them know you would like to take part as a wheelchair participant. Your charity will contact us and request your entry for a wheelchair place, LLHM will confirm is a place is available as they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
