Schools

We are very proud to have worked with various schools in the City of London and the City of Westminster over the years including City of London School, City of London School for Girls and St Marylebone CE School.

Performances

London is full of young, talented performers, and we’ve been thrilled to work with so many of them. They’ve brought real energy and buzz to our route and stages—giving participants a much-needed boost.

You can check out some of our youth performers from LLHM 2025 here

We’re always looking for talented young performers—individuals or groups—to take part in our event. If you’re a young performer or part of a performance group, we’d love to hear from you! Please fill out the form below or email us at [email protected]

Volunteers

There are plenty of ways for young people to volunteer at LLHM—whether it’s helping with meet and greet, bag drop, water stations, or supporting our finish team. We’ve been incredibly lucky to work with some amazing young volunteers over the years—without them, we wouldn’t be able to deliver the event the way we do.

We've been proud to welcome cadets from across London including Lewisham, Central North and Greenwich Police Cadets, along with the City of London and North East Sector Army Cadet Force. We also work with members of City Youth Forum - young people from the Square Mile driving change and social action.

There are a huge range of benefits to volunteering at LLHM, such as:

Be part of a major London event and experience the excitement behind the scenes

  • Build confidence and develop valuable new skills

  • Meet new people and work as part of a supportive team

  • Make a real impact on event day

  • Have fun in a rewarding and energetic environment

  • Count your hours toward the volunteering section of your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
